Ohiobuckeye45
Yeah the 6z gfs was bleh. Would probably take the first inch just to overcome the warm flooded ground
Grace
After what I consider unfavorable trends (not terrible but not favorable for big storm) the 6z EPS trends are good for many.
MesoscaleBanding
This just popped up as my Facebook memory this morning... 14 years ago today, my wife's car was buried under 20" of snow - has it really been 14 years!? 7

junior
Hmm I don’t like the shearing trend on the GFS. We’ll see it’s still early.

Moderators Hiramite Posted March 8, 2022 Moderators Share Posted March 8, 2022 OH in a good spot for the "NW shift" on the 12Z GFS.
Iceresistance
The GFS tried to trend away the snow from my area, but then says 'Reconsider that please!"
Grace
Right now it seems all 12z model runs have best phasing east. Of course Euro has notvrun yet. And any shift west of northern energy moves it west, which is what I'm hoping for. But 12z, while giving snow, is a no go on big snow on OV for the most part. 12z ICON best for OV...but on its own at moment. One thing I've noticed this Winter is that the ICON is generally very consistent compared to the other Global Models.
