Harley8778
Ended up with 3.25" here. It shut off fast. We got enough for my son to get run off the road by a snow plow and total his truck. Spent most of the day dealing with that. Luckily he and his girlfriend are ok, but the truck is toast. Otherwise it was a beautiful day. 1 3

Bad time to be looking for a replacement truck though. 1
Poco
One if the better radar shots of storm when that early band on the western edge really stole the show

I have to assume they are with this nuts NW wind, and radar definitely is lake bands if I know anything about them. Undertakerson2.0
Meanwhile, the storm is approaching Greenland and is already sub 940mb going another 10+ deeper in the next 6-12 hours https://www.metcheck.com/WEATHER/mogreps_global_model_charts.asp
Moderators telejunkie Posted March 13, 2022 Moderators Share Posted March 13, 2022 Well after spending the day and night in the old casa, finally back home and quite a bit more snow here than down there (was 3.5" there). As is often the case here, hard to get a good read because of the drifting which is over 15" where I typically park my car...but after a quick walk in the woods, will go with 7" although was reading between 6-10"...more leaning toward the 6-8" range though.

Undertakerson2.0
3rd snow even in the past 6 days here now. At least I have the twins of Sun Angle and Sublimation to help with the aftermath.

Moderators StretchCT Posted March 13, 2022 Moderators Share Posted March 13, 2022 (edited) Wrapping this one up with the results page. Not sure I completely agree with this map, but it's what I use. Which one do you think nailed it? A lot of the 48 hr models are failing this one... they are in the spoiler Spoiler Leaves these Edited March 13, 2022 by StretchCT
JDClapper
Flurries here. Mountain to the south (probably 4ish miles away) fading a little bit, but not disappearing.
JDClapper
Solely going off the pivtol observation map, I guess the NwS blend was the best? But going off what posters here posted.. maybe GFS with dash of FV3?
Undertakerson2.0
Would think FV3 was the top dog by a notch there.
JDClapper
So far with this clipper, first 15 mins are back and forth flurries andburst of light snow. Mostly mood for now. Nothing accumulating.

It's progressed I to a steady light snow. 31 out. Dusting on a few places like truck cover, deck, snowboard, parts of rooves. Pavement turning damp, for now. Undertakerson2.0
I hope you'll forgive me going back to this one, yet it had a very similar path to yesterday , except much slower of course (and had significant Atl side contribution which yesterday did not) For me, the Grand Daddy of all - it has "it all"
