Ended up with 3.25" here. It shut off fast. We got enough for my son to get run off the road by a snow plow and total his truck. Spent most of the day dealing with that. Luckily he and his girlfriend are ok, but the truck is toast.

Otherwise it was a beautiful day.

Was gonna react to your post but not sure how to cover the nice pics and the bad news about your son's truck in one go.

Glad everyone's ok. Bad time to be looking for a replacement truck though.

Huh. Still snowing.
adding radar

Are those lake effect bands on radar? I have to assume they are with this nuts NW wind, and radar definitely is lake bands if I know anything about them.

Well after spending the day and night in the old casa, finally back home and quite a bit more snow here than down there (was 3.5" there). As is often the case here, hard to get a good read because of the drifting which is over 15" where I typically park my car...but after a quick walk in the woods, will go with 7" although was reading between 6-10"...more leaning toward the 6-8" range though.

Wrapping this one up with the results page.  Not sure I completely agree with this map, but it's what I use.  Which one do you think nailed it?

A lot of the 48 hr models are failing this one... they are in the spoiler

So far with this clipper, first 15 mins are back and forth flurries andburst of light snow. Mostly mood for now. Nothing accumulating.

Not sure if it'll hold together when it's here or not - had a coating on the deck for a hot minute...otherwise, like you said. image.thumb.png.ee15384ec203e0ec35f8fba3773e5dbb.png

It's progressed I to a steady light snow. 31 out. Dusting on a few places like truck cover, deck, snowboard, parts of rooves. Pavement turning damp, for now.

I would say at least in my area it was a blend of the GFS and Canadian, but they both over did totals east of Pittsburgh
