Some ppl watch tv news to yell about and to politicians. I do that same thing but with the weather casters.

Let's add another one! 😀

So I'm on the line for 5-10 and 4-8. Does that mean 5-8, or 4-10? 😬

I thought it was crazy that I'm in the mid-40s for the temp currently and expecting a snow storm tonight but I just talked to family in northern Alabama where it is almost 70 degrees and they have a Winter Storm Warning starting at Midnight for 2"-4" of snow.  Usually such a contrast in temperatures leads to a big tornado outbreak in that area, not snow.

I think you average them, so that puts you on the 4 1/2" to 9" line.

Well we had nothing now uped to 1-2”. 2-4” just west of me. Let’s play the bouncing ball snowfall inches.  I will remind all I received 13.5 “ of  snow on Jan 3rd after it being 65 the day before. I realize a bit different set up but it is possible. It came dow from 6;30 Am and it ended around 1:00pm   So will be fun to see if any banding shows up.

I lived in NJ in October 2011 and thought there is no way in heck we are having a snow storm, and especially snow sticking to the roads, because it was too warm.  Almost a week being out of electricity taught me a lesson.

Never doubt Snow Miser!

Understand we were without power  52 hours. That was enough to finally get duel fuel generator.   My wife is very happy.  She was not  after she finally thawed out.

See the thing right now is the lack of clouds in the area. Tells me we will manage some nice radiational cooling and have lower temps then potentially first thought allowing for more snow potential?

Dewpoints mid 30s gonna be an interesting one to watch for sure. Im away from the comp so i dont have all my tools but the front looks to be just through pittsburgh and near state college.

That area of Hartford to Waterbury, me, White Plains, Newark, New Brunswick, Mt Holly, Philly is such a hard forecast

The area in between the green lines can see either a quick coating to 6".  How do you forecast that.

Yup. Had my sons first bday party that day. Needless to say there were some issues. 🤣
