I have to correct myself slightly. Looks like W PA actually went back UP a notch. Wiggle waggle wiggle waggle.

Ironically, I was just out fixing my Wshield wipers on the car LOL (Gawd it's nice out right now)

We can check these again once the event ends and now for consistency.  In otherwords, comparing their last couple of runs with their first couple of runs.

Uh oh Clapper - SREF let down alert - down again pretty much across the board in PA (only by an inch or so but...) image.thumb.png.65f67bdfa401ff42788d5318f52f7f78.png

Yeah 😞 snow pops went down.. 10% chance the storm misses (Williamsport) entirely at 7am. 9% it's raining, 81% it's snowing.

Could you imagine the 10% happening??? 🤣

It's 13 miles to the NY line from my house (via google earth), and about 15 miles to the 10" mark.  Amazing cut off.  Trying to forecast this is brutal. I'm currently at the 2" mark, though other parts of town are 5"

It's 70 degrees right now. Not expecting much more than conversation snow tomorrow morning but there will be some accumulation not far away. Crazy when it's this warm the day before.

Anyone with pivotal premium have the wind gust maps for the NAM 3K & 12K at HR 27 & 28? Looks like some fun weather for Lancaster County around that time... 21 Kt sustained at 10m. Interested to see the gust potential.

Gusts from GFS, Euro and NAM for NE

Pretty decent consensus at this point that from Albany to all of orange county and even south of there in NY should probably be at a minimum 4-6" probably 6-8", as models having been giving the entire HV just as much snow as farther inland now, and probably the most intense banding.
