The lightning in the Northern Eyewall is going absolutely bonkers right now. This thing is really strengthening right up to landfall. 

 

We could be talking hurricane gusts all the way up to NC at this point.

I don't think this wind field is accurate. Maybe aloft. And the TS force perhaps.

Ahh, I found a station in Captiva that had near hurricane sustained and gusts in the 80s.

Funny enough, I made a post about this last night, as the storm was much farther south. The entire cloud system is affected by multiple things.
