Kingston to Spanish town have dodged the eyewall. It might even just skirt up the southern coast, but any wobble north is an issue. Half the population is between Kingston (and St Andrew Parish)  and in St Catherine's Parish (Spanish Town).  Damage might still be great there, but not demolished I hope.

ADT is picking up the pinhole eye.  It gets a little funky with land nearby, and it jumps when it sees a pinhole.

Up in the hills outside Kingston, they've had 5" rain and winds in the 70s

near 6pm edt radar still has a wicked northern eyewall over S Jamaica.  I'm wondering what the surge is like behind it in Kingston.

I tried to share a ‘gift’ link to the article, but it doesn’t seem to be working…

Eyewall clearing Jamaica right now. I'm seeing some bad stuff there, but they actually really lucked out.  The widest parts of the island are around 40-50 miles.  Eyewall went in maybe 10 miles the most. Kingston, Negril and Montego Bay spared. Ochi spared.  Now there are flooding rains and strong winds, but not the eyewall.  I'm getting footage from people at the resorts we go to and it's not terrible. Ocho Rios lost power at 5pm, but they probably lost it earlier and just ran out of fuel for the generator.

Here is the 0z GFS run. To hour 162. Looks like the remnant energy gets caught into a front crossing the central plains.

18z Euro out to hour 90.  Appears to be coming further north than previous runs.

Pretty sure that the rems from Beryl eventually rain out over the Eastern US.

Not sure if said rains are entirely Beryl, yet a backtracking of the vort maxes appear to allow that much of it is.

At this point, does not appear to be problematic.
