National Weather Service Louisville KY
526 PM EDT Tue Apr 2 2024

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Jefferson County in south central Indiana...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 526 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located 9 miles northwest of
  Madison, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Jefferson County, including the following locations...
  Middlefork, Canaan, Five Points, Dupont, Belleview, Bryantsburg,
  and Barbersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

That blue area just went severe warned and tagged tornado possible.

I think storms are definitely going to continue ramping up, this whole region is pretty primed.

Tennessee is also starting to wake up, i'd expect at least a few severe storms and possibly a tornado or two all the way down in MS, AL within the next couple of hours.
