If we gotta deal with suppression for the first few waves then fine. At least we’ll have cold. And not have thunder and lightning in mid/late December.

I am worried about the storm hinted for the NE interior. In-laws are coming from New York to visit around the 17th, so I’ll be watching closely.

12z GFS would be absolutely fantastic. Broad slow moving trough with multiple energies kicking out all within 240 hours. GFS doesn't show a crazy amount but it's definitely underestimating the more subtle waves. I'd bet on a setup like this leading to widespread 8-12" for Kansas and Oklahoma.  I'd still be totally happy with 4-7" though.
