February 16-17, 2024 | NE / Mid-Atlantic Winter Storm

This thread date is one crazy modeling nightmare.

Many variations

I'll be honest - I DO want a blockbuster for PDay. If not huge, I'm pretty meh and would rather it go warm and golf/fishing weather already

Models will no doubt have to clear out at least the first of the next two, before knowing what to do with this one.

How are the teles UT? Assuming still supportive of a storm. AO still tanked when I looked yesterday, NAO also had a dip, +PNA. Didn’t look at MJO.

Not worried about what the models show, they didn’t sniff out anything LR this year, not consistently anyway.

That’s a good low position for our area. Just need some strengthening

Was going to say "now just imagine IF the huge ULL can capture it instead of kicking it"

We just saw a huge step towards that idea. Can it? Maybe I guess. I kinda hope so (then Spring please)
