Gotcha - I'm on the opposite side of Philly across the river in Camden County. Still just rain

Page topper:

Two pretzels were walking down the street: one was a-salted

Band on the Run....

Your musical references are second to none Dman. Now that the Nightwatchman's had his fun - next act will be the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway?

So.. this is quite a rough estimate using our Google Nest.. but thinking 3-4” down this way. Power just flickered too.. that should make our upcoming FID (Flexible Instruction Day) fun.

The vis. is quite low - even for predawn conditions.

Light snow, grass and cars with a coating (probably 1/4").  Paved surfaces wet.  Schools called in a delay a few minutes ago.  Almost over, back edge is about 10 miles NW.

This is so similar to 1983. The rates started very heavy on that deal and stayed high throughout. I'm hearing reports that winds are starting to increase just like that as well. We get some convection (tsnow) and it will replicate all except for speed of passage.

Main difference, as I've said at least a half dozen times already, is NO blocking.

Man…..this one is going to hurt for a while.   Here I am thinking places just to my NW are a lock for 12”+ and it shifts to drastically and deamps to our SE.  I honestly have seen anything like this in quite some time.    All within 24-36 hours too
