Euro looks to not phase cleanly and thus not allow for the intensification which would be needed for those amounts being pumped out earlier.

Yeah but isn't Euro long range and thus more suited for that than short range?

Which kind of goes to my point of its phys package, while being great at overarching aspects, is not designed to handle all this convection. I'll never forget how in Jonas, it was LAST to the party.

Has anyone actually looked at the radar? Does that look like weak sauce ?

No, euro is lost. Way more QPF being dumped down south.

That IS a good point

I personally still believe LI, NYC, S CT, CNJ take a hard hit here. Dynamically makes sense to me. Given the downstream observations though, I would say this cannot correct too much further south. Some rather heavy rains and storms transversing the Carolinas.

I'd laugh if PHL, CNJ, LI eventually is the jackpot for this one.

I use to curse you, now you are my sage.

that being said.  Can't see it, at least not all the way to the shore.

My snowblower did start after almost 20 pulls and fuel priming.

Welp. I guess no snow for LI then. Maybe you helped to push it further south for the rest of us.

It's not simply a snow axis move, it's an overall drying and speed increase trend (on that model)

Great to see this is not affecting my rain totals at all.  sigh.

Mud may not be pretty like snow, but you can still jam a ruler or yardstick in it and brag to your friends how much you got.

Some friends might think you're a little crazy, but the rest of them already knew that. 😜

Luckyyyyyyy , I had to make do with a #2 pencil though I did finally get a Ti-30 to make it through advanced chemistry classes. image.thumb.png.12aa2db3553f7dabae7d7866dd13eeeb.png

Tidbits not with 12z yet but here's the previous 8 runs.  The upper low is weaker than before and south.  I'm not seeing a major change in the northern stream though that would push it south. The 534 line actually relaxes in the end

What's even weirder is the 6z frame looks to be pretty favorable for SNE.

You know you took your cassettes you saved your programs on and put them into a cassette recorder and played to hear the beeps and squeals. 😁

And you could make swear words with 7734 (if you read the display upside down - lmao)

I still recall whipping out the spankin' new Ti-30 for all my classmates to see. Hell, they had no idea I had no idea what most of the buttons were for.
