Moderators StretchCT Posted February 13 Moderators Share Posted February 13 (edited) Still early and a more comprehensive analysis tonight including a 72hr, 48hr and 24hr winner. Or maybe tomorrow, depending on the NORHSC or NWS reports. But I just want to remind everyone what the 0z runs, after a couple of shifts south looked like. Using mostly kuchera except for ukie and ensembles which only have 10:1. The ukie was particularly poor. The last two storms for the MidAtl, where it was modeled to have CNJ in the higher totals, changed last minute. The first went south and this one north, Still got snows but the last minute shift on models screwed this area. Storm was going to do what it did all along, the models were all over within 36 hours of event. 🤬

marathongoalie
Has to be near 6. On cement it's compacted as the base layer is just wet crap. Shoveled once to get the heavy snow up. Have an 8pm hockey game, really didn't feel like over working before putting my goalie pads on
RTC3-LAST CHANCE
Wow, about 10 here. No idea what figure without compaction. Pictures incredible , but ugh to the trees. For those who kept the faith👍👍. wanted to stay up for the IS- insanity rates, but left the cat out around 5:15 and crashed. 3 1

Jethro Tull
First post on the "new" site and first real snow in two years for Long Island. Big flakes, but having a hard time accumulating. Bernie Rayno I really respect and admire, but this storm was a tough one for Bernie. LUCC
One last gasp and this thing is over, about 2" of slushy snow, get out there and clear it off your driveway/sidewalks before it freezes. Was already starting to freeze in some spots. Edited February 13 by LUCC
Moderators StretchCT Posted February 13 Moderators Share Posted February 13 Some prelim snow reports. I dislike that the NWS puts reports from early in the storm onto the lists later in the day. These are recent though - same area has reports of 3-4". marathongoalie
Just barely into double digits for the season. At the very least li has not had 2 sub 10" seasons since records have been kept. Big win for this winter. Will take alot to hit avg, but there's still some hope
Lazman
Steve T-Rex has taken his official measurement! Let's call it just under 13 inches as an average measurement here in Harleigh near Hazleton. I say average because compacting is taking place as temperatures rise above the freezing mark. Definitely an over performance on Mother Nature's part. That total takes my seasonal measurement to just under 35 inches. That's about 21 inches below our average. I haven't looked, but is there anything out there to track? Got my Snowmojo on now! PS: The new Snowblower worked awesome, especially cutting through the plowed in Snow at the end of my driveway! Man, that schitt is getting heavy. Rawrz!! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️🦖📏 1 3
