FYI (courtesy of Broadcastify) [TR/Major Vehicle Accident] DOWNINGTOWN EXCHANGE (312) IS CLOSED DUE TO TREACHEROUS CONDITIONS AND MULTIPLE VEHICLES BLOCKING RAMPS.(09:36 EST) I drove by the overpass right before the exit around 9:45, didn't notice anything out of the norm and that part of the TP looked pretty clear. The other roads in the area were pretty terrible though. The baby woke up at one point in the middle of the night, probably around 2 or 3, and I could hear the rain coming down pretty good. We still ended up with probably 4" of some heavy, wet, snow. Would have been a bit more if we would have changed over a litter earlier. It sure did look pretty out there though
RTC3-LAST CHANCE
Note to newbies that haven’t seen snow in like forever. Music and shoveling rock. Just don’t use white air plugs like some moron i know 👀 👀. Going with the sleep deprivation angle. Should find the one by early March. 2 1 4
c8pjp
If nothing else this storm gave the snowblower a workout for the first time in two plus years. Good one for it too. 2 1

The last band was the heaviest of the day. I’d say ~3” total accumulation is possible here imby, where you can see the effect of the melting and water droplets from overhead branches, leaving a slushy 1”.

It was actually pretty cool.

Undertakerson2.0
My road is a mess of tree limbs down. Still no power but that only means being forced to go to the new ital.bakery nearby. Yummy chicken parm and penne 🙂 1 1
Jim
Back again from 12 miles NNW of center city Philadelphia. I waited to go back out clear what came down after I cleared the driveway three hours ago. Glad I waited. The sun is out, temperature at 37, even some areas of the driveway that don't get the sun are now clear of the coating from what fell since 9:30. Of course there's the pile at the end of the driveway from the plow. In the meantime, snow is melting and dripping from the trees.

LUCC
That's a wrap for this one, have at most 3" of heavy wet slush, if only 5 degrees colder at the onsite and during. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers!

All the best to those who have to move this it is easily the heaviest way to snow I've dealt with in a while Actually I didn't think this was as heavy as the one we had back in January. Wet slop on the bottom but above that didn't seem so bad.
