Locally we're over 7" (of qpf) so far.  Airport is less than 10 miles away, has double my snow total. About 100 feet higher up or so.

Bradley north of Hartford, has 13"???? WTF? When?

Already these sites are in the top 3-4 of wettest Januaries. 2 more inches puts us in the top 2.

I'm putting this here since BTV likes to update their maps during the storm.  My area is on the northern fringe but it has trended northward just a bit.

Has there been any deeper dive into why the models are suddenly pushing colder? Surface map results from each model run are nothing compared to the 500mb runs, position of troughs, qpf available, etc.

On the flip side, someone tell me these clown maps are gonna make it snow on LI. Daddy needs his fix. 😉

Not pushing colder. Just aligning with the track, what happens with the secondary. Always adjustments with these. LI is a real reach for snow.

Bud, that’s gonna happen with the first part of this. You know that. Rough night 😀😀

Yeah, I know.  Bummed watching the news here too. Very low key on this.  Meanwhile, the RGEM seems to trend south too.
