I think this goes without saying, but nothing would please me more for NAM/SREF/GFS to get this right in our neck or the woods. A perfect hold over until the big one next month.

What about me? I'm 3 miles north of I-80 on exit 293 😝 Think you will do better. I'm a smidge too south.

Don’t get tricked, that’s white rain.

In the middle of the heaviest band in E PA

Riding the ragged edge...

The model says "snow" as best guess. Guess is the operative word here. That's a long time flirting with the Frzg Line and not saturated DGZ

I think the depth maps are terrible. Even so 2 inches for this event is getting NAMed here.  Kuchera gets me 5

To each their own, I like to figure for compaction/melt during, snowfall is for measuring on the board.

My question is what am I playing in,  not how much fell.

I assume not hurricane cod anyway.

No I fixed it.  I must have been punchy when I wrote that one cause we don't call it that.  COD is circle of death.  Where the MJO goes to die.

NAM exited the wheelhouse.... No grip on the qpf yet. Hartford for example is 0.8, 0.5, 1.1 and 0.4.  But it does seem like it shifted north in looking at the precip field.
