Sunday Night Rain before 11pm, then rain and snow likely. Low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. From the AFD The limiting factor for a big snowfall event is marginally cold airmass and lack of a strong high to the north. The latter of which is coming in behind the system. So dynamical cooling will be the main mechanism to cool the column enough for potential snow. Gusty NE winds will also accompany the system with gust 25 to 35 mph, highest along the immediate coast. Snowfall was 5” but depth change was only .5”, JD was also joking about this yesterday. As precipitation lingers Sunday afternoon into the evening, temperatures cool to the low 30s in the higher elevations. In these areas, snow is possible with up to an inch accumulation in the Alleghenies. Further east, little accumulation is expected but could possibly see a snowflake or rain/snow mix. Gets in the right position , not late , not too far west, and should deliver. Sure is all swolled up. Also truly hope another model or 2 comes around to the amounts the Magical Mystery Tour had.
