Snow has picked up a little here. Lawn has turned white.

33F and N winds at 5.

But listening to police scanner traffic the county highway crews are out on the roads at higher elevations.

Forecast was for snow to start after 5 pm and at 5;03 pm the flakes started falling.  We are currently at 33 degrees and I hope it stays all snow and we don't see any rain this evening.  We aren't expecting much more than an inch.  Our bigger storms this year have been surprises, and maybe this one can surprise us too.

On the radar, it looks like the snow on the radar is getting eaten up by the cold air about a mile south of me.  However, we don't have any cold air to speak of.  I guess I've been a bad boy and no snow for me.  Light flakes are falling but nothing exciting.

Naddafinga here in Harleigh near Hazleton. A few big flakes of White Rain earlier, and some Snizzle. Busteroonie, like The Ravens, but I digress..... UNLESS Clapman turns his fan southeast...

Nother round of invisible snow left a layer of sludge on the deck, but back to snizzle/drizzle.  Totally missed that it did anything out there.

Currently 31ºF here.  It has been snowing here all day long with varying degrees and intensities; maybe 3" on the "snow board" ATM.  I may have dodged the bullet with this event, but I hope those who wanted snow had their expectations met; or even better exceeded.

Well got .97 “ of rain today , another what could have been. It’s so disappointing that this winter is turning out just like last winter in terms of cold and snowfall . My optimism is falling more quickly than the rain was and perhaps the niners Super Bowl chances 😝

Got sleet, snow and rain now. There's not an option on mping for that.

I noticed that today!  I selected sleet and snow.. but could've just as easily said rain and sleet.  Who knows.

I hear ya.  I'm eagerly awaiting an above average snow year, and not just above average b/c there's 1 monster storm, like above average b/c we're getting a foot of snow each month, Dec-Feb, maybe even Mar.  Daydreaming.  haha

Heavy wet snow, 1" down, 31.5˚ Fimage.thumb.jpeg.eb95aaa225e9823a4ce915122b6cf646.jpeg

Went to bed thinking we'll maybe 2", as the models were backing off. Looks like 5-6" fell here, definitely enough to fire up the Ariens.
