January 23-26, 2024 | Upper MA/NE Sloppy Winter Weather Potential

I wasn't here but checked the BTV winter page and it showed 2" of snow for my area on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.  The overnight rain has caused slick conditions on unpaved roads.  I'm hoping my driveway thaws before we get below freezing again or I will have a slick mess to deal with.

Winter Weather Advisory here for later tonight and tomorrow.  Temp has been sitting at 33F much of the day and we are currently at 31.8F.  Our forecast low is 31 tonight.  I think there will be a lot of slick roads in the morning.

Super, this will be rolling in just about the time the kiddos get on the bus... I'll get tug call in 15 minutes if they are gonna cancel.   Tough call, early dismissal might be messy.

One of my kid's school was cancelled while the other's was still open. Since it's half day on Fridays for them, just decided to keep them both home since it was 33F and raining pretty hard when I started the coffee. Temp now up to 38F and rain has stopped.
