RobB
Nice to be above 20 degrees again. Ironically, the winds bringing in the warmer air is bringing some wind chill 🙂
Ohiobuckeye45
I'm still sticking with 2-4'' but I'll be so disappointed with anything less than 2'', especially because all day yesterday everything but basically the Euro showed widespread 3-5 Edited January 17 by Ohiobuckeye45 2 2
OSUWx2
Been following from afar, not checking every model run and dissecting it, because it gets exhausting for someone else's backyard or nominal amounts, but I am just hoping for enough snow to cover the grass and stick around for a few days. We have yet to have a grass covering snow this season.

Makes it easier to get covered. 2

That constitutes maintaining a well-manicured lawn, and those don't exist in Clintonville 😅

MesoscaleBanding
Here's the first good news of the day for the further south crew... Euro has trended slightly juicier since 0z...would equate to a fairly broad area of 3-4" when higher ratios are factored in...

Admin BuckeyeGal Posted January 17 Admin Share Posted January 17 The 15z SREF lightened amounts, too, but I have always felt like it lags behind the models. As in.. it follows what the model runs have just done before it for the most part. Could be totally wrong.

I was really hoping this would be more of a spread the wealth type event since there’s been snowpack for the past three days here thanks to the cold. And the fact that there’s a minor disturbance working in tomorrow morning for the area. But our thaw is coming quick and another window is closing for some to cash in on the more active pattern. This keeps shifting north though then only Michigan will fare well. Solid 2-4” between two waves up this way. Let’s hope it shifts to where more people can get in on the action. Local Mets thoughts earlier this morning. Edited January 17 by NWOhioChaser
