SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central,
  south central, southeast, southwest and west central Indiana.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

Gut feeling is that LOT upgrades me to a winter storm warning later (they certainly will farther north).  They may not have the greatest confidence in warning criteria amounts here, but it should be close enough even in a worst case/least snowy scenario, plus factoring in the wind impact and what that may do with weighed down tree branches and then increasing blowing/drifting concerns later in the storm.

Yeah, I’m definitely not a fan. And the frigid temps while staring at dead grass isn’t all too enthralling either.

Agreed, wind looking like a big factor here. Not excited about it with the temps crashing afterwards. NAM 3km for comparison with the GFS above.....
