This ice/freezing rain situation is going to persist for hours in NYC and western LI, really making a mess of things.  And then temps are going to dive into the 20s to freeze it all over.

Yeah, this is what is what I was alluding to yesterday. The ice portion had me rather concerned.

Please do, and make sure you use the correct colors this time.  Also use Crayola over the cheapy brands.

I prefer Prismacolors, but then again I have a bias because that's the brand I use to draw as a hobby for fun

thought you could sneak in an obligatory grill shot without me noticing?  LOL

2.5 inches in Toms River, NJ and now a slushy mess due to change to mix, which really means change to rain.

Eagle eyes you're correct. Only Grills

Definitely continues to over perform here in Tioga, PA.  Radar looks healthy and should continue for several hours.  Never did get an advisory or warning.. so didn't expect to have to plow after this one.

Ive been hoping someone would comment from up there, radar just sitting on you guys. How much?

Funny, the advisories were from Williamsport and south, but it ended up pretty much jackpotting Williamsport and north. 🤷‍♂️

Just measured 6.5 inches on the log pile.  Still ~15F, so there isn't much compression.  Very light and fluffy.

10am: 3.6"

Just a constant ~1/4" per hour snow rate all morning.

Nice! Nothing accumulating here since before 7am. That persistent band up your way seems to be sticking to the port

The snow started here ~4:00AM with 15ºF as this morning's low and it has been snowing ever since with periods of varying intensity.  It is currently 19ºF and lightly snowing with 1.5" on the ground.  A nice cover of snow to hide the ground surface glaze of ice below. The scheduled service for our heating system rescheduled once again.
