I still remember ST, at golf outing #1 telling RTC and I about how badly he disagreed with the brass at NOAA vis a vie "future upgrades". I can't recall every bit of his nerd talk, but I do know he felt that the GFS would never catch the Euro with the approach that was decided on. I remember on TT they had GFS and para GFS. Para was less stable imo over the month or two.. just bounced more then the old. Ever since then, feels lime a dartboard at times.
