Blacksburg office issued an advisory for us

 

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY TO 7 AM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3
  inches.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest North Carolina and southwest Virginia.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Monday to 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Wind chills will be in the mid teens to
  upper 20s by Monday morning.

Sterling must have saw that NAM.  1 more inch for EVERYONE.

Looks like models are picking up on the SLP being stronger and that is upping the amounts looking like a area wide 3-6 event with some areas more. It will be interesting to see if the low really can get its act together. Most of us would have signed up for a 3-6 4-8 event I  a heart beat Thursday/Friday.

 

As I said overnight the key would be if that LP could get going it would spice things up. Hopefully she gets angry.
