RTC3-LAST CHANCE
just an fyi about NWS forecasts , as it was a topic last storm. Can’t link arrticle cuz old archived newspaper, but they changed their criteria nationally to streamline consistency. It is still 6 inches for a watch and 3 for an advisory but the change is they changed the criteria for winter storm event, these watches, advisories, etc can now go out 48 hours, vs. 12 or 24 hours. For you weather geeks that have nothing better to do, updated criteria can be found at www.weather.gov/snow-criteria.
