OXC going hit 35 mph.  Going to be a tough night to sleep, but I've now got Covid so NyQuil will be on the agenda in an hour

Rain is loud and relentless.

NY just went red with over 100k outages. PA leading the country.  Could see 200k?  NJ hanging in there.

The few low level clouds around are flying in from the SE and rain has definitely lightened up a bit probably done most of the rain in the next half hour around here. Total rainfall estimate right now is between 2-2.5".

If anyone is up once this calms down overnight, try to remember and capture the power outages from https://poweroutage.us/

Yeah, it's not the horrible Covid, just like a bad cold.  I'm functional, but congested upper and lower respiratory.  Funny thing was when I was hacking up a lung earlier this morning, my cat looked at me in horror.  I told her it was a furball.

Hello all. So glad I found everyone.
You all do an amazing job!!!

Currently a balmy 55 degrees.  Pouring rain.  Winds I’m estimating 25 with gust to around 40.

All be safe!!!

Hopefully some winter precip next week for the coastal plain

Over 2" of rain and plenty more to come. If we ever do get a snowstorm down here hopefully it maxes out the QPF like every rainstorm seems to do.

Now up to 3.50" of rain with more to come. Winds are not bad.

Yea just got to add our local 8" rain bucket and we are sitting around 3.15". ASOS seems to be having issues here.

Wind is going now in Hunterdon County. Lights have flickered a few times but still holding (I’m sure I just jinxed myself). Our furnace broke yesterday and won’t be replaced until Friday so we are sitting in the cold anyways, making me somewhat grateful for the rise in temps tonight.

You can see them coming in off the ocean.  This one though is only 15 miles from the radar and the beam is about 900 feet.

It was 30mph on the other side so 130 gate to gate. The big black hole by Newport to it's NW is the radar.
