I am happy to report the first flakes of the main storm have started falling here at 8 pm.  I feel like the party is winding down but I just arrived.

Current temp of 20F.

BTW - we have a good group here overall.  Good insights, good obs, not a lot of drama.  Really appreciate it.  I popped into 33andme, I mean 33 and rain discord (which is garbage) and the atmosphere was unbearable.

I jumped on the 33 and rain discord was this week and on top of it being far too NYC centric, the wishcasting is unbearable.

Any known 10" spots in PA?  I'd imagine if there was it'd be in the Poconos or so..?

Clearing the interstate now.  Headed down to gouldsboro which is 2,000ft on i380 to check and see.  Heaviest bands coming thru now so maybe after that

But it was a good 15 minutes

It was a great 15 minutes! Been outside since 2:30. Finally came in about an hour ago (rain got to most of us) to pig out on food. About 20-25 neighbors came out!

So - about 7 or so overall?

Thats exactly the number I thought of when I did the old hand on the hood scientific technique.

Actually catching some drifting in spots, flakes aren’t as wet as I thought, temp probably dropped and boosted or omega layer.  Snowing sideways currently.

very nice storm and a very very fun one to track .  Thats why I try and remind everyone not to sweat the details, you aren’t in control.  Just track learn and sometimes sit back and enjoy
