2.45" in the CoCoRAHS and 37 degrees when I left.  No flakes seen. Rain is wrapping up.

These are max gusts since midnight.  Mostly topping out in the 30s and 40s, so over modeled. Especially over the Cape where 50s to 70s were modeled.  SE MA did get into the 50s though.

Interesting. It looks like the inversion held just tightly enough.

The temperature at the Binghamton airport failed to drop below 32 all night, and the storm ran out of moisture by 5 a.m., ahead of schedule of course. My most bullish estimate for snow was 2.5 inches, a definite underperformer. I was getting nervous last night when the temperature stalled, predictably, at 33. Meanwhile, here at St. Louis, I am still waiting for my first flakes.

Just some slush on the grass and decks with whitened cars around here. Looking at the mountain to the south of us (2000') I'd estimate about 1500'+ was the place to be here.  But no one lives there, just trees, deer and airport light towers.

Noticed on the tv in the break room that there are a bunch of school closings in Norwich area due to power outages. Unsure if they are weather related.

Rain totals in CT were concentrated in the middle and eastern parts with some reports over 5" as noted in the disco I posted.  Note these are as of 7am and it's still pouring out east.

1.78" of rain measured from this event so far.  It was 37ºF at sunrise as the rain quickly transitioned over to snow. "Wet bulbing" has brought the temperature down to 33ºF and it is currently 34ºF.  Today's high temperature may be the 42ºF recorded overnight.  I expect the snow to move on out as this system moves further from the coast later this morning and a cloudy afternoon.

Yesterday's picture sums up what happened/is happening now:

Elevation dependent snows at their finest-- nothing reached the ground on the east side of the mountains.  Its a beautiful morning though!

Drove my boys up to the Appalachian Trail near Boonsboro.  No snow at my house 700 feet, about 3-4" at 1,300 feet.

Photographer who works for us took some awesome pictures today of our town. The town tree sits at 1400' elevation at about our lowest point. The towers behind are at 2145' and Quirrack mountain back there effects so much of our weather.

After checking nearby measurements to confirm, I will say we got 3" of very wet and heavy snow.  Luckily the driveway was warm so I'm hoping it clears itself tomorrow as it is supposed to be 37 and sunny.

My son did pass his driving test and it snowed heavy about 15 minutes before test time.  Luckily it was light snow during his test and roads were mostly slushy as plows had cleared the snow.  I told him one day he will be able to tell his grandkids that he passed his driving exam in a snowstorm.  The grandkids will probably joke that was way back in the olden' days when people had to actually drive their cars.

Ended up maybe getting an inch of snow. That backside snow didn't really show up here. Thankfully, the rain totals were down from projections and I've received 2.03" total at my station.

That aside, my mind was blown as to how accurate the HRRR was with the prediction 24 hours earlier as it had clearly shown a "firehose" right over my house for a few hours.

And it did exactly that:

Find me 50+ acres above 1500 feet within 30 minutes of Hagerstown and I will buy it immediately.

We got a slight coating yesterday morning that was gone by afternoon, but I was working on top of the mountain along the VA/WV line where there was several inches on the ground. With the trees being wet there was a lot of snow on the windward side.

I took a few pics as I was riding along (in spoiler).
