1.82" is the wettest day on record for San Diego proper for August. It's also the highest daily total since February 2017. NWS was pretty much spot on in their forecast. Overall a tremendous storm for San Diego with relatively low impacts as we enjoyed a surplus of rain. Mountains and deserts across the county of course experienced much more damage.
