Face it, this radar is in nowhere-land with the city of North Platte 58 miles away! Once again, 45 knots of shear is better than most situations in July. Chinook Posted July 10, 2023 Share Posted July 10, 2023 You can see the split features of the updraft on this new storm with the ZDR. splitting is not too unusual with more of a straight shear over 35 kt.
