Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted June 19, 2023 Meteorologist Share Posted June 19, 2023 Be interesting to see what results from this storm merger. I’ve noticed this orientation of the merger usually tends to be constructive but we’ll see
Neoncyclone
Getting a little bit worried, this couplet is exactly what it almost always looks like right before a strong tornado. Hopefully the storm remains a bit dis-organized and precip interferes, but it's looking particularly nasty right now. (looking like potentially a constructive cell merger, we'll have to see what it does once the storm gets fully swallowed up and has clean inflow again) Edited June 19, 2023 by Neoncyclone

Meteorologist Ingyball Posted June 19, 2023 Meteorologist Share Posted June 19, 2023 Nighttime tornadoes are the only weather phenomena I truly fear regardless of any scenario that wouldn't put you at risk for other weather (i.e being caught on the beach in a lightning storm).

Neoncyclone
You can already see the new circulation in place of the old that has now likely lifted. Always insane to see a cyclic supercell tornado occluding and new mesocyclones forming so fast. Edited June 19, 2023 by Neoncyclone

The old meso occluded but hung around for awhile, the main meso had already taken over and was the largest of the 9 tornadoes that evening, and then a new meso had already formed and was producing a tornado lol. Was the strangest thing.
