Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted May 23, 2023 Meteorologist Share Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) Looks like it'll be another busy day. 15% hatched hail for the southwest TX Panhandle and south. Looking at splitting supercells here. New day 1 outlook mentions gusts up to 75 mph possible but they didn't go hatched wind. Solid inversion here this morning but steep lapse rates above it. Much of the west half of the TX Panhandle didn't get touched by yesterdays storms, so that's certainly where the concern is. Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted May 23, 2023 Meteorologist Share Posted May 23, 2023 Discrete supercells are not having issues growing hail. They’re all currently in eastern New Mexico. As it stands now, the current severe warned ones may just clip the Amarillo CWA but there’s always the potential for more development further north
