30°F, light snow falling, dusting on the ground so far. Doesn't look like it will amount to much this far north, but my drive south to work (Lebanon NH) should be interesting.

Actually, the commute was a whole lot of nothing. So far, we have more snow in northeast VT than ~90 miles south in Lebanon NH. Roads were just wet.

I suppose there's more snow arriving later.

As of 10:30 am,  we have 32.4F and just over 1".  None of the snow from last night did stick and at 7 am the roads were clear here.  Now the roads are white and snow has been moderate but moving toward heavy snow.  I didn't go out and see if the snow was fluffy or heavy but I'm guessing it is heavy snow from how the tree limbs are sagging.

Schools are in session here today.

A few more storm reports

Looks like someone reported from my town...haven't ever seen another report from here on NWS storm bulletins. Guessing this is different. Wow...some big numbers there along the spine of the Apps...the models weren't joking.

The biggest surprise to me is the lack of wind here....thought it was going to roaring by now, but it's still only puffs.

Down to a moderate snow. A dry slot trying to work its way into the area.

I just got this message from NWS.  I'd estimate we are getting 2" an hour snow now.  We are only under a Hazardous Weather Outlook for only light accumulations here.

Moderate snow now, sticking to unpaved surfaces.  Still just above freezing, and not a lot of wind.  Hoping the wind to come isn't as bad as predicted; i do NOT want to lose power!

Moderate cloudiness with gusty winds. Non-accumulation is ripping. Probably the heaviest non-accumulation Ive seen since yesterday.

I know I shouldn't complain because we've had around 35" this winter on this hill, but it does sting a bit when you go to bed Sunday night thinking you're in the bullseye, only to wake up 5 hours later and find out it shifted 200+ away from you 🤣😩 Forecast went from 1' to 2' to 4" to 8" in a hurry. Still not shabby at all. If this "pattern change" had happened earlier like last month I'm sure we've all would've cashed in sooner or later. But alas, it came late in the game for many. Hopefully next winter is a continuation of this pattern. Winter 23/24 is only 8 short months away.

Im actually not as bummed as I woulda have been in previous years. We just got super lucky here with a 5.5" event last week, and just a couple Decembers ago I was witness to the largest snow in the cities recorded history. .. that said, I would still have loved to get a nice 2-5" from this lol
