Due to recent severe weather, the National Weather Service plans to conduct a storm damage survey tomorrow in Highland County, Ohio. Based on video evidence and radar data, the National Weather Service can confirm that a tornado occurred in northwestern Highland County between 5PM and 6PM on Friday. No additional details are available at this time, but additional information will be made available after a survey is completed. The National Weather Service is also coordinating with Emergency Management Officials to determine if any additional locations will require a survey.
