This is absolutely a deadly jinx, but I'll say it anyway...

This storm will occur almost 15 years to the day of the March '08 blizzard...it will hit on a Friday/Friday night, just like the March '08 blizzard. The heaviest snow axis depicted by the 18z GFS is somewhat similar in placement/magnitude to March '08

Just sayin'...🤣

I believe this is also the last double digit snowfall at least around my area.

On a side note, this is the time of year that widespread heavy icing events can really become a threat. Let's hope this doesn't happen, but our region is notorious for some serious icing events. I am sure Grace will attest to that and sadly we are due from my observations.

My new forecast formula is a such:

Current model run total divided by total model runs left until the storm.

So it is basically 20 inches for me divided 24 or so..... Equalling about .83 inches. Seems about right but about .83 inches to much this winter.

Just having some drunk fun before bed.  Feel free to ignore. 🤪

Here's my math:

My gfs snowfall has increased by an average of 8 inches per run over the last three runs. If I assume that trend will continue over the next 24 runs, that should give me 192 inches. That sounds about right...

You are like the Neil deGrasse Tyson of weather forecasting. Very impressive. 😜
