   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of 
     Far southwest Kansas
     Western Oklahoma
     Northwest Texas and eastern Panhandle

   * Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 330 PM until
     900 PM CST.

   * Primary threats include...
     A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible
     Widespread damaging winds and scattered significant gusts to 100
       mph likely
     Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
       inches in diameter possible

   SUMMARY...Numerous supercells are expected to develop across the
   central to eastern Texas Panhandles and spread rapidly
   east-northeast across western Oklahoma and far southwest Kansas, as
   they grow upscale into a fast-moving squall line.

   The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles
   east and west of a line from 60 miles west northwest of Medicine
   Lodge KS to 70 miles south southeast of Childress TX. For a complete

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
   tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
   area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
   threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
   and possible warnings.

   surface and aloft to 2.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind

This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread wind damage with isolated tornadoes. Tornado warnings are in effect for portions of this larger severe thunderstorm warning area. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows!
