65.4 at the house.  Been rising nicely..

Crazy.  That warmth due up here tomorrow.  :classic_sad:

Both thermometers still at 32° with an icy glaze on all the trees still at 3:20.

Edit:  Just now heard some thunder north of me, lightning tracker confirms.

It is a solid sheet of ice outside with heavy freezing rain coming down. Just eyeballing I would say we’re close to .25”. Heaviest precip is supposed to continue for another 5 hours so the .5” is definitely attainable. Winds aren’t too bad right now which is a good thing.

DTX also upgraded the WWA counties to ice storm warnings.

Sheesh! Sounds rough out there!

up in southern Sanilac county we had about 1.5 inches of snow then it changed to ice pellets and accumulation stopped.

DTX upgraded WSW totals to 6-9”. I don’t see any way that’s possible.I don’t even see us hitting 4

Been dumping ice pellets since about 4pm. No accumulation besides the maybe 2 inches we picked up before the change over.

Roads are slick and slushy from what I’ve heard.

Seems like this storm is going to be a major bust around this area. We most likely won’t hit the low end of the forecast. 😞
