Heaviest precip is supposed to continue for another 5 hours so the .5” is definitely attainable. Winds aren’t too bad right now which is a good thing. Sounds rough out there! up in southern Sanilac county we had about 1.5 inches of snow then it changed to ice pellets and accumulation stopped. DTX upgraded WSW totals to 6-9”. Not surprising, trees are really sagging right now so can only imagine what the power lines look like. Pros3lyte Posted February 23, 2023 Share Posted February 23, 2023 Been dumping ice pellets since about 4pm. No accumulation besides the maybe 2 inches we picked up before the change over. Roads are slick and slushy from what I’ve heard. Seems like this storm is going to be a major bust around this area.
