Saw the NAVGEM posted earlier as well.. Interesting evolution. Starts off the coast, gets drawn-in. If Nav rule applies.. this should be further West.

There's not much anything can move west, as depicted, without going to a Cutter solution.

Better to have it here, than to our west.

Yea idk….there was some pretty good EAR support, but nothing worth noting on the models just yet.   Been a long time since January was a complete dud.  Hoping the second half of winter can at least bring one decent all snow pure snow event.

Pacific not helping much for this timeframe.  all I see is wave after wave crashing into the west coast keeping the flow just rolling along.  Not allowing much wave break and western ridge//eastern trough to come to fruition.  No upstream blocking either.  It’s a long shot for sure, but we shall see if we can thread the proverbial “needle”.   This La Niña pattern is downright brutal for east coast people.

It sure does look nice coming out of the gulf. We need at least 1 big one this winter.

Most likely, this will be another inland runner. No HP or 50/50 in place. SER/WAR flexing again and a rapidly deepening system. It may not cut, but the coast is likely out of this.

We may not get a hit this year
