For those in OH(?) that got some snow today, if you haven’t had a chance to check out the needle dendrites, here they are.  Pretty cool!

About 3/4” snow so far today, not much wintry mix in the morning IMBY.  Edit:  made it to 1” today.

Had some lake effect snow impact just north of Amarillo today and some power plant effect snow elsewhere. Also, another day of seemingly random flurries across the Panhandle. The thinking is that the temps are cold enough and there's more than enough moisture that upslope flow is the one to set things in motion.

Wasn’t expecting a nice fresh coating this morning. Cold.

HRRR showed some runs bringing snows just up to our area. Other than that, was a bit of a surprise 👍

Had a lot of sleet with a little bit of freezing rain, just enough to make the sleet hard ax a rock & give it some staying power. Should be good sledding! Embracing for round 2 this afternoon.

After I finish some work & kiddos finish school work we headed out. Hopefully I don't end up in the ER! I'm a big kid in a 49 year old body.
