tool483
Wow, talk about a quick batch of snow. Maybe a half inch out there. Expecting rain for the next batch but there is always a 1% chance it stays as snow lol

Moderators telejunkie Posted January 25, 2023 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2023 (edited) Will call that one underwhelming....the "heavy snow" was moderate at best. Has laid down 1.5" total. Should be a mixed bag when it restarts. Edited January 25, 2023 by telejunkie

There goes skiing this week 😩 This f*** La Nin~a has been so fickle this winter. I hope I never see a La Nin~a again in my lifetime.
CandO100
When it comes to a decent snowstorm like the one unfolding in the northeast tonight, I’m largely just a spectator. I’m jumping on the Maine bandwagon, they look like the one’s to beat. Let’s Go Mainers! Best of luck. I look forward to seeing some sweet snow pics. 2

TheRex
We've received 1 1/2" so far with moderate snow falling and the temp is 28. BTV still saying about 6" here. If we do get that much, it will be like moving concrete tomorrow because I can here the flakes land tonight because they are loaded with moisture. At least that kind of snow doesn't melt quickly once it freezes into an iceberg.
Moderators StretchCT Posted January 26, 2023 Moderators Share Posted January 26, 2023 Sad that they actually made a report of these. JDClapper
Dang, seems like a majority of us busted with this one. I suppose SPA could argue it went well for them compared to forecast/expectations. Here was low rang my expectations, NWS struggled. Wouldn't give up the ghost of a decent accum accourring here. Not one winter storm has gone as expected this winter here. Its nuts. I feel for professional forecasters.
