HVSNOWSTORM
An intense burst of snow just picked up out of nowhere on radar and is helping pavement take on snow now. Just west of pk in the valley not at my house at 1500'. Lots taking snow now.
MainelySnow
About 6-7 here in Lebanon, ME. Was a bit of mix about an hour ago but is in process of changing back to all snow - looks like I'm just on the boundary line for the warmer air. Current temp is 29 degrees. Gonna be a messy one, but I'm looking forward to breaking out the snow shoes tomorrow!

TLChip
Lots of snows flying, nothing sticking to anything though. Can’t get a good picture on my phone showing the big flakes, some are like pepperoni size. 1

NHSparky
Woke up at 4am to go-to work and just absolutely pouring out. The snow we had turned into about 1 inch of slush. Not sure this can recoup for me. 1 2 2

Admin MaineJay Posted January 23, 2023 Admin Share Posted January 23, 2023 Making the kids lunch, then heading out to try and sled. Easily the heaviest snow of the year right now. Close to white out right now, especially when the wind gusts. 1 1

Predictions had us at 6-10, but based on what we have on the ground, I think we are going to see at least a foot when it's all said and done. 1

Moderators StretchCT Posted January 23, 2023 Moderators Share Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) Mesoanal suggests it's supposed to be snowing. edit: it's mixed, slush on the table now. Really tiny wet flakes, barely noticeable looking into the woods, but against the darker backdrops can see them. And temp dropped to 36.1 rather quickly.
