Thinking we'll get an IPT report from our guy in the field soon.

Looks like some bright banding or sleet near the PA/MD border?

Can confirm sleet.

Speaking for us folks back here in interior PA, this looks more and more like our "event" will be late tonight with a back end burst of snow.  Seeing this on pretty much every model in recent runs.  Snoozer for the next several hours, but then we fill in around midnight, and also have another enhancement just before daybreak.

With some of the heavier precip returns.. we actually switched back to some sleet after being primarily rain the last few hours.

Wanna say I saw some flakes mixed in the rain as I was heading down 83 in york this afternoon, that was about it though. I would be pleasantly surprised if we managed anything on the backside of this. Next one looking like interior again holds onto cold just long enough may see some wet flakes again initially mixed in.

Which one did you buy?  I've got the Ambient 2902 and I really like it. The wind speed it records isn't accurate but that may have something to do where I placed it.

Accurite pro weather center. I had my dad whip up something to put it on so i could get it away from buildings and get decent wind readings. Curious how temps will go being close to roof, especially this summer.

Below freezing at 31F now. No precip whatsoever yet. Expecting mostly rain here despite 2000Ft elevation and a perfect storm track 🤷‍♂️

Funny how earlier at 38 degrees there were sleet and snow flakes with drips.. now at 33/34 its just a light rain and drizzle.

Its not actually funny tho.
