Speaking to my Ohio brethren...

File this away in your memory banks...this is what the NAM showed us this afternoon with less than 18 hours til showtime...

AKA - this is why I struggle to take the NAM seriously until its final run before precip is falling from the sky.

I'd seen the NAM crap the bed too many times to get my hopes up. I was more optimistic when the Euro kept Columbus in the 4 inch range and now that appears to be diminishing.

I'm feeling fairly confident we get 2-3 inches followed by a rain out in Central Ohio. To be honest, that's been my take for 2-3 days now.

Congrats to NW Ohio, Indiana and Michigan, it looks like. 😊 The 0z RAP and HRRR were painful for my area. Keep chopping, I guess.

This has been quite the roller coaster ride, and I’m sure there’s one more twist or turn to come. There always is.

Alrighty then, sounds like we need a pick-me-up.  I'm somewhat surprised at this map, but I don't make, I just copy and paste 'em.  This includes some late week snows as well.

As we await the NambinOz...

Interesting weather stuff along the Lake shore.

From CLE:

In particular, slightly later arrival and downslope flow may lead to a local minimum in snowfall amounts along the lakeshore from Cleveland to Erie.

From the 0Z HRRRRRRRRR:

Prepare to watch the gloriously embarrassing cave to reality 🤡

And then the FV3 which has been favorable at all to me just gave me 4 inches 🤦🏽‍♂️
