Closed lows move slowly across the southwest and this system is no exception ... The betting man should take the slower and farther west solutions. Perhaps a surface low near Paducah, KY Wednesday afternoon?

I would assume the slower/cutoff solutions would have a more western track since it allows heights ahead to recover from the 21-23 storm. This would also mean more QPF since the GOM would have time to recharge.

That cutoff on the GFS is brutal again. 25 miles can mean the difference between a nice snowstorm and a huge disappointment.
