I think we would be just fine in that setup verbatim! it just can't turn in to whatever happened to the 21-23 storm

Early thoughts from Uncle Larry (Cosgrove) Twitter:

After a period of weakening/fragmentation, the large storm will regroup over the western Gulf of Mexico on January 24. The track scenario is still a bit uncertain; I somewhat favor a path into Tennessee and Kentucky with secondary cyclogenesis off of the Virginia Capes on January 26.

Limited graphic options but the UK out to 168 shows what I would guess to later be deemed suppression looking what transpires in QPF trajectory between 162-168, but hard to say without any type of heights/MSLP look if it creeps up in to KY

This looks not suppressed. Looks like an east coast storm
