To my basic understanding - TT's algorithms are simply reading in the raw data and creating a visual display/plot so it shouldn't have any noticeable impact on the actual model output.

Not sure where to find analyses of the 850mb for the ICON, but the 500mb pattern sure looks a lot like the Euro leading me to believe the main SLP didn't jump at all just the TT algorithm output.

From 1001mb at hr114 to a 970mb at hr 135.  A 31mb drop in 21 hours.  A true bomb.

Edit:  And still dropping.....bottoms out at 958mb in the Great White North.
