Euro like the UK is still bottling up that cold too much, shift that storm track south a good 200 miles if not more. Would also be a better scenario for the OV in that case. Yesterday's 12z run at least showed the cold racing down the western High Plains.

I’m biased because I’ve been used to this scenario many times in the past, but with the vort max so tightly wrapped, many ohioians could be dry slotted based on exact track. I could see Indiana west getting the goods, and Eastern Ohio getting some good lake enhancement.

It's hard to see something with that much artic push with it not digging further South. Hoping it will mature quickly and ull etc is favorable for us. Slower storm probably help too right ?
