Snow____
I’m liking all the precip in the cold sector so far. Let’s see how that progresses East.

Yes, but so far the 2 models hinting at this situation have been drier and no big snows, outside of lake effect areas.
Moderators Hiramite Posted December 20, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 20, 2022 Dang, difficult to find much of a GFS low center for the Tracker until HR 60.
JayPSU
Big ole screw you hole over my house on the GFS. I’m sticking a fork in this one for me. Even if it corrects more to the east, it’ll just dry out.

StLweatherjunkie
I feel for you southerners ... the frustration and disappointment is why I moved north. Those Monday GFS runs were awesome, but even the most recent ones are pretty solid with an easy 1-2ft.

Not exactly sure where you’re at but that seems to be a bit of an exaggeration… GFS has a large swath of 4”+ with 40 mph gusts for an extended period of time throughout IN/MI/W OH…. 1

I’ve lived in central Ohio for 20 years now. If you have to depend on both lake effect snow and backend snow to get that…you’re screwed. 😊. Particularly lake effect.
