Our heat pump doesn’t turn in below 10-15 degrees. Usually it’s just a few nights a month in the winter we run solely on backup electric and it’s back supplementing during the day. With it running pretty much constantly through Monday I’m looking at an extra $80-100 on my bill lol… although it’s nothing to hit a $3-400 bill in the winter.
