Thoughts on most of central Ohio and snow emergencies?  We're concerned we're going to remain in level 2 thru mid day tomorrow based on blowing snow.

We're in Franklin county and my wife made it to work this morning at 6 am ok. I have a feeling roads will be navigable by this afternoon.

Yes, very rare. Pretty amazing (and unfortunate) how quickly the pattern is about to flip to blowtorch at the end of next week though. I really hope it's just a quick reset thaw & we can get back to some good winter action in early January.

Selfishly, I'm not mad about this.  I'm driving to Atlanta next Friday.  😉

I see Morrow & Pickaway just pulled the trigger on Level 3 emergencies...Wouldn't be surprised if Delaware/Union follow suit. It's a raging ground blizzard out there right now with no end in sight for the rest of the day.

It's flat up there!!!

Lol tbh I’m not mad either- the thermostat went out on our van so the heat is hardly working (just in time for this storm of course!) so I gotta replace it next week in my driveway - no garage.

Pretty cool meteorological event, though our natural gas usage will be a bit more expensive 🙂

Agreed. Our heat pump doesn’t turn in below 10-15 degrees. Usually it’s just a few nights a month in the winter we run solely on backup electric and it’s back supplementing during the day. With it running pretty much constantly through Monday I’m looking at an extra $80-100 on my bill lol… although it’s nothing to hit a $3-400 bill in the winter. Need to get our wood fireplace insert working again!

Hopefully we don’t get dry slotted. It’s coming down heavy at the moment and everything is freezing up.

It's absolutely brutal out there. We're not getting a lot of snow here but what's falling is blowing ferociously with those strong gusts. Went for a walk and could barely see anything around me 😂
