Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted December 14, 2022 Author Meteorologist Share Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) Basically any sustained convection far enough inland is tornado warned right now. Quite a rare sight to see. One severe warning has turned into a tornado warning, and I don't think the other is far behind. Admin Mainiac Posted December 14, 2022 Admin Share Posted December 14, 2022 Unbelievable how many clearly visible areas of rotation have popped up on reflectivity in the last 30 minutes. At one point there were three separate distinct vortices between Purvis and Columbus.

Meteorologist ClicheVortex2014 Posted December 14, 2022 Author Meteorologist Share Posted December 14, 2022 I almost missed an intense tornado. Right now it’s only radar confirmed but I hope there was a PDS. This is from New Orleans airport TDWR.

The environment that produced the above beast is, theoretically, no different from the one to its south.
