...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CST FOR SOUTHERN
COVINGTON COUNTY...

At 531 PM CST, a confirmed tornado was located near Collins, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southern Covington County, including the following locations...
Seminary.

I wonder if this is the sort of situation where 1" + hail hits the ground and nobody reports it because they are in the their shelters.

NOTE: base velocity from KPOE shows 108 miles per hour on the south side.
